- I am an artist living in Vermont and Northern California. My paintings romanticize local landscapes and places. My still lifes represent objects that symbolize the places that I love. I also paint portraits and am currently working on a series of portraits of my family. I paint in both oils and watercolors and find that certain subjects call out to be painted in certain mediums.

Windmill in fall really caught my attention.
I especially like the windmill--the shape and with the vines growing up it. It is a nice contrast to the muted hills in the background.
I can't wait to see more!
