Tiny Barn in the Snow

I saw this little barn and tried to paint it from memory. I am wondering if I need to add anything, like a fence or hedge, because all of the color is in that one area with the barn and tree. But I do like to see the snow in the foreground.

If you turn it upside down or look at it in a mirror, you will have another viewpoint on the composition. I agree with you that the snow in the forground is nice so white, but also feel that to be a balanced composition, you may need to darken some of the dried grass area in front. Now I cannot see it, but what about adding more to the right instead?

This is a lovely painting! It's so mysterious. I want to know who lives or lived in the barn. What would I find if I walked on the other side. I expect I would see a beautiful view of a valley with a river. The paintintg draws me into the space.
